Twelve Data provides access to a wide range of specialized financial datasets and add-on services for both personal and business use cases. These datasets may include exchange-specific market data, security identifiers, regulatory information, or other premium data products available on demand.

Access to certain datasets may require an additional request, subscription, or due-diligence review, depending on the data source and intended usage.

Step 1. Navigate to Data add-ons

Start by opening your account profile and navigating to the Data add-ons section.

Step 2. Provide required details

On the next screen, you’ll be asked to provide additional information to support your request:

  • Personal or company details

  • A brief description of your intended use case

  • Any supporting documents that may assist with compliance or due diligence

  • Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

Once complete, click Submit your request.

Step 3. Review and processing

After submission, your request will enter our review queue.

Our team will:

  • Review the application

  • Perform any required due-diligence checks

  • Confirm eligibility based on the dataset and usage type

You’ll receive a notification once your request has been approved or if additional information is required.

Step 4: Additional approval, licensing, and activation steps

Depending on the dataset or add-on requested, additional steps may be required before access can be granted:

  • First-time add-ons may require signing a Data Service Agreement (DSA) before activation. This helps ensure proper licensing and compliant usage of the data.

  • If the selected add-on is paid, our team will issue a purchase order (PO) or provide the necessary billing details to complete the subscription.

  • For certain datasets, we may introduce you to the licensor or data provider representative (such as an exchange or third-party vendor) as part of the approval or onboarding process.

  • Some add-ons require explicit approval or an additional license from the licensor. In such cases, access will only be enabled after the licensor’s approval has been received.

Once all applicable steps are completed and approvals are in place, access to the requested dataset or add-on will be granted and made available through your account.
