Extended market hours data for U.S. markets is available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET with a Pro plan or higher. Access this data via: It should be noted that these extended market hours are exclusively applicable to U.S. markets, with no extended-hours data availability for other markets such as Canadian tickers.
API: 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, or 30-minute intervals.
WebSocket: Real-time streaming. This compatibility supports extended hours data specifically for U.S. markets only.
To include pre- and post-market data, add the prepost=true parameter to the following endpoints: /time_series, /quote, /price, and /eod.
Historical data
Extended hours data, covering the full trading schedule from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, is available for records older than one day.
Canadian Market Data Limitations
Premarket and postmarket extended-hours data are not available for Canadian tickers. These tickers (e.g., LUN.TO and TECK.TO) are limited to end-of-day (EOD) data only.
Real-time streaming through WebSocket API is not supported for Canadian market extended hours.
